We're back. Well... okay, we're not back, given that we live on opposite sides of the world now. But I've finally got some good news. Yes, the Doom track you've been waiting to hear for SIX FUCKING YEARS is finally here (the first draft, at least; it needs some re-recording and remixing). So now that anyone who might have been keeping up with us has long since gone far far away, here you have it... E2M2. We entered it in the DoD's August competition (themed "PC Games") and got 11th place out of 19. Not too bad, considering. Look for a better version at some point.

Okay, so it's been awhile (a long while), but in addition to school and work, we've been busy pursuing other various projects and haven't had much time for the band thing. Our current endeavor is Xbox modding. See here for more information. And for those of you who are anxiously awaiting the release of e2m2.mp3, we should probably have it finished up within the next two to three months, depending on how much time we're able to spend working on it.

Just to state the obvious, Jehovah Gyra is on a managerial (but not creative) hiatus until we relocate to a more band-friendly town. Don't worry - it won't be long..

Wowzer. John Romero said our Doom remixes "really rock." I mean, Christ fucking a jumpy monkey is that cool or what? That's just the kinda thing that makes life worth living...

The show is over. Overall, it was a success. Dr. Sugar fucked his voice up pretty bad, and he's got some new cute bruises. Stay tuned for pictures, mp3s, mpgs, and sweet, sweet lovin'...

It's been a while, but the next news update is worth it. Jehovah Gyra is going to do her first live concert ever. On July 20th, Jehovah Gyra takes the stage, fully prepared to go the full 666 yards in our little god town. And it's all going to be captured on digital video. God will dance.

Doomcenter finally posted Richo Rosai's wad today. This wad, entitled "A Warm Place," features a supercharged Industrial Death Doom soundtrack by none other than everyone's favorite Industrial Death Pop band Jehovah Gyra; so if you're actually reading this news page, then you should go check it out. Also, the second music wad is still available through the link below.

The second music wad for Richo Rosai's "A Warm Place" can be downloaded from here.

We've decided to clear the poll and open it up for voting again. It isn't for a re-vote, but just for fun (in case we decide to do more some day).

Wednesday, December 12, 2001
The poll is now closed, and it looks like E2M2 is the winner (thanks, Mr. cheater guy). You can still view the results, but if you try to vote, it will not be counted.

Sunday, December 09, 2001
The Doom poll will be officially closed on Tuesday at midnight, central time. After that, we will tally up all the votes and start working on the map with the most.

Tuesday, December 04, 2001
Doomcenter has posted a Jehovah Gyra feature on their site, which includes an interview with Dr. Sugar and a download of our cover of E1M1 from Doom.
NOTE: Doomcenter doesn't seem to exist anymore, so you can get E1M1 (and an alternate mix) from here.

Eat Free Kids continues to briskly sell locally, in spite of delayed tour support.

Official Release of Eat Free Kids. It looks like we managed to pre-sell 300,000 copies. Now it's time to rest my vocal cords, sit back with some Pokemon and watch the money orders roll in. He he he...

"Lead singer attacked by worthless acid-head, fate of shin unclear." Yes, Dr. Sugar was attacked by some acid-abuser today and bitten in his good singing-shin. Doctors say he should make a full recovery in time to finish recording the final tracks for the album, but there is permanent scar tissue. Please pray for him.
